Los Angeles-based thrash outfit Five Finger Death Punch formed in 2005 around the talents of former U.P.O. guitar player Zoltan Bathory, former W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, vocalist Ivan Moody (Motograter/Ghost Machine), bass player Matt Snell (Anubis Rising), and former W.A.S.P. drummer Jeremy Spencer. The underground supergroup's volatile but groove-heavy debut, Way of the Fist, was released in 2007.

Gavin DeGraw is a talent, who in just a few short years has become one of today’s premier singer-songwriters. He’s done it the old-fashioned way, on the merits of his creative abilities, perseverance and a healthy, homegrown perspective, establishing himself as a magnetic, new voice in music. Now, Gavin DeGraw adds a new chapter to his celebrated narrative with the release of his second studio album, the self-titled, Gavin DeGraw.

DeGraw broke through in 2003, with the release of his debut album, Chariot, which awakened music fans across the country to a charismatic, vibrant young artist who connected with audiences in a way other contemporary musicians did not. Selling over a million copies and earning platinum certification, Chariot yielded three hit singles – “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through,” and the title-track, “Chariot.” But it wasn’t just the numbers that confirmed DeGraw’s popularity. The song, “I Don’t Want To Be,” was chosen as the theme song for the hit TV show, “One Tree Hill.” DeGraw made numerous appearances on television shows like The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live with Regis & Kelly, Last Call with Carson Daly, and others. His songs have often been sung on “American Idol.” DeGraw has toured tirelessly, selling out to bigger and bigger audiences every time around.

New York's Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI) is an inflammatory band which has been mixing punk rock and driving electronic music together since 1997. With an amalgamation of sounds and genres, the band has been storming the electronic and punk scenes, garnering many hardcore fans in their wake with both their recorded material, and manic live performances. In February and March of 2008 the band toured throughout Australia, New Zealand and Japan, and had a sold-out tour of the U.K. The band returned to finish up work on their new album "If" (released via an exclusive license with The End) on April 29th, 2008. Proving once again that they're a band to be reckoned with, Mindless Self Indulgence debuted on Billboard's Top 200 Album Sales Chart at an astonishing #27 with their album "If".  Peeking into the underground realm where the band has forged a massive cult following, mainstream tome Entertainment Weekly dubs the album "like the entire Ozzfest - with a wee bit of cabaret interlude - condensed into 45 minutes."

Vertigo USA - The U2 Tribute Band

Thursday, August 28th
9:00 PM (8:00 PM doors)
$8.00 advance / $10.00 door
All Ages

U2 has been one of rock music's top acts for over two decades, selling millions of records and performing sold out stadium shows internationally. Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr., the original and only members of U2 have cemented themselves as rock icons. In Fall 2004, U2 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Vertigo USA is an incredible live tribute to U2. In sight and sound, Vertigo recreates the magic that is a U2 concert. The attention to detail is well beyond what most people expect. Much like The Beatles tribute acts that perform with costumes representing the various eras of The Beatles' career, Vertigo has taken the same approach with their tribute to U2.

A Vertigo concert borders on a Broadway production. Onstage you will see much of the same musical equipment U2 uses to create their signature sound, as well as costumes, backdrops, and special effect lighting. Some shows at larger venues have included video production and a belly dancer taking the tribute show to new heights. A typical Vertigo concert will have the audience singing along to hits such as "With Or Without You," "Where The Streets Have No Name," "One," "Beautiful Day," and many other anthems spanning the U2 catalog. From "Boy" to "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb," Vertigo has it covered.
